I've lived in Normandy for over twenty years (and visited many times before that) so have a useful appreciation and knowledge of the region. Over the years, I've assisted authors and film makers, found or confirmed locations for veterans and their families and contributed to several memorial projects.

Since 2019 I was part of the team whose work culminated several years later in the disinternment and subsequent identification of remains of 1Lt Nathan B. Baskind from Pittsburgh, PA.

Whether you plan to visit Normandy (on the ground or virtually), if you have any specific interests in any aspect of the campaign of 1944 please get in touch. Decades of studying the events here have led to an accumulation of a vast array of primary and secondary sources and a network of knowledgable and like-minded friends.
Whether it be an individual, a unit or a battle that interests you, I can almost certainly help.
